Video- Dual Clone Display Demo on i.MX6 Quad with WEC7 by iWave Systems

Comments

I noticed that you are cloning the displays.  We are interested in i.MX6 WEC7 solution that can easily drive two distinct 720P MPEG-4 video streams with hardware acceleration.  Have you tested that scenario?  Can WEC7 BSP and SDKs from Freescale drive two different video streams (MPEG-4) utilizing the i.MX6 hardware to decode the video?  We currently can handle two video streams simultaneously with i.MX6 dual and Embedded Linux.  We would like to support WEC7 but are concerned there may be limitations with the WEC7 and Freescale SDKs so limited processing by the CPU is required.  i.MX6 hardware (GPU/IPU/VPU) used to do the heavy lifting of processing the video streams.
