middleware "Dhara" missing from SDK 2.5.0 on RT1052

What is the reason that the "Dhara" middleware has been removed from the SDK in newer versions for the RT1052 ?

It was available in 2.4.2, but in the current 2.5.0 it is gone (as well as the nand support in the fatfs folder)

(seems to be the same for 5460x also...)

Hello Carsten,

If you want to use Dhara stack, you can copy it in 2.4.2 to 2.5.0.

Try it , please!

Have a nice day!

Hello,

I'm very well aware that I can copy the files. But my question was WHY the middleware has been removed in newer versions (and not if I could copy the files or not...)

PS: Why was this question marked as "Answered" when it clearly is not ?

Hello Carsten Groen,

I also checked the question in SDK2.5.0, yes, Dhara is not included in the version of SDK. Then I contacted design team, and submitted a case for the question to them.

And In order not to delay the progress of your project, design team suggested you could use it in 2.4.2, because what we released in 2.4.2 is  only Dhara stack.

Today, I got the answer from design team just now, See below, please!

---------------------------------------------------

--Dhara in 2.4.2 was not validated

Our SDK for RT1050 is developed on IMXRT1050-EVK board, but on the EVK NAND Flash is not supported, so we have no way to validate Dhara stack on the board.

If customer wants to use it on her own board with NAND FLASH, she will have to debug it by herself.

Due to no validation , we didn't include it in 2.5.0.

---------------------------------------------------

Have a nice day!
