iMX RT685 EVK Debug failed with SIGTRAP when using JLink Firmware

Hi,

I was able to debug few sample apps of iMX RT685 with onboard LPC Link as LinkServer debug probe and code downloaded to RAM.

Now I want to test few DSP sample apps, so I programmed latest JLink firmware to onboard LPC Link then it detected as SEGGER JLink probe. But when I try to debug any app, received SIGTRAP.

Below is the version info.

MCUXpresso IDE v11.3.0 [Build 5222] [2021-01-11]

Firmware_JLink_LPCXpressoV2_20190404.bin

I verified few other posts related to SIGTRAP, but no one solved my problem. If any one has ideas please share.

Thanks,

Yugandhar

Hello @yugandhar421,

In the following post is explained how to update the onboard LPC-Link. Did you replace the LPC-link image?

Hello @Alexis_A

Yes, I flashed Firmware_JLink_LPCXpressoV2_20190404.bin then it detected as JLink.

Hello @yugandhar421,

In the following link you can download the user manual of the EVK, could you check the default state of the jumpers and see if them match with your board?

Also, only to confirm the LPC link Firmware is the following one?
