drag_and_drop flash failing on i.MX RT 1050

Hello,

I'm trying to flash my code on the IMXRT1050-EVKB, but every time I get a fail: "The transfer timed out."

The examples provided by NXP work perfectly, but when I try to flash my code I get a fail.

I'm using the drag-and-drop method.

I copied all the settings from the example into my settings, but that didn't help.

Is there something which needs to be done in order to make this work?

Or can it be that the bin file is to big? It's around 89 KB and the examples which I've tried are around 20 - 25 KB

IDE: IAR embedded workbench 8.30.1

With kind regards,

Luc

Fixed it by changing the CMSIS DAP reset to "core" instead of "System"

With kind regards,

Luc

Hi Luc Aarts,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and
for the opportunity to serve you.
Q1) Is there something which needs to be done in order to make this work?
--  4.1. OpenSDA Drag/Drop and boot from QSPI Flash section in the application note: AN12108 illustrates the complete steps, please follow them.
Q2)  Can it be that the bin file is too big?
-- No, I don't think so.

Have a great day,
TIC

Hello jeremyzhou,

I've followed the steps in that file and also the ones in AN12183, but I keep getting the following error:

"Verification error at 0x60000000: mem = 0x00, file = 0x46"

Do you know what this means?

With kind regards,

Luc
