we are working on an custom build board for i.mxrt1176, and we download nxp boot utility from github (version 4.1.1)
1) we tried download without encryption, we used address at 3000a000, everything looks great
(we switch to serial download mode first make the download and then switch to internal )
2) we tried to do encryption of the image using otfad (xip based on the fly decryption), it did not work. we tried the led blink code from the app directory. it wont boot. is there any suggestion on how to make the otfad work? (the CFG[1] pin , after programming , we pull it up)

Hi @hhh ,
Thank you for your interest in the NXP MIMXRT product, I would like to provide service for you.
If you want to use the OTFAD in the MCUBootUtility, you can't use it directly, as it need to add the -image_enc file, this also mentioned in the MCUBootUtility link:
https://github.com/JayHeng/NXP-MCUBootUtility
Following this link to add the related file for the OTFAD:
https://www.cnblogs.com/henjay724/p/10189602.html
BTW, NXP also have the official tool for the OTFAD, you also can try it, it can be used directly:
Wish it helps you!
If you still have questions about it, please kindly let me know.
If your question is solved, please help me to mark the correct answer, just to close this case, thanks.
