Hello

I am currently supporting TIZEN RT only used in Samsung for their own RTOS.

In the current status, I copy the hex format binary to RT1050-EVK folder that is automatically decteded when image update.

But the fail to download image often happens.

In that case, fail.txt file is shown in RT1050-EVK folder and image download didn't work well.

Please give me the guidance about image download without IAR or MCU Expresso.

or share the external image tool to download built image.

Thanks

Hi Harrison Choi ,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
In the application note: AN12108, it illustrates the steps of programming the boot image to external flash, in further, the NXP-MCUBootUtility is a GUI tool specially designed for NXP MCU secure boot, Its features correspond to the BootROM function in NXP MCU. Currently, it mainly supports i.MXRT series MCU chips and please go to download it, then give a try.
Have a great day,
TIC

Hi Harrison Choi,

It seems a bit weird, the tool works well in my PC (Win10 64 bit).
The NXP-MCUBootUtility.exe in the source code package is packaged in the Windows 10 x64 environment, thus it should work well in the Win10.
Whether you try other PC for testing.

Have a great day,
TIC
