RT1061/1062 Not Recommended for New Designs?

I noticed that the RT1061/1062 (maybe others too, I didn't check all parts) are listed on the NXP website as Not Recommended for New Designs - is this correct?

It seems they were launched, what, about 2 and a bit years ago?

Do NXP really not recommend that we design in these parts for new designs now? And if so,. what is the suggested replacement please?

Just like mentioned, the silicon Rev A of RT1061/1062 is not recommended for New Designs, please consider the silicon Rev B to replace them.

Hello nickwallis,

seems like only the old mask set 0N00X is not recommended for new designs. The latest mask set 1N00X is still active.
