RT1050-EVKB could not connect to core

Hello

i am using the RT1050-EVKB Board with the example LED blinky progamm. It worked well for a while but suddenly the board always throws an error message read time out. The SW7 Config is: 0010. J27 is 1-2. When plugging the debug usb cable to the board, the red and green LED are blinking for a short time. The PC recognise the board as mass storage.

Now i have a timeout problem while trying to debug.

Is there a way to fix this problem  or to reset the Board to factory conditions?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Hi Jeremy,

yes, the SW7 is on 0110. It worked for a view hours but then suddenly i couldnt connect to the board anymore. The USB Debug Port recognizes the Board when connected to the PC, but the green led just blinks shortly and afterwards the red led blinks for a short time.  The Firmware Version is 0244. My IDE works normally. Iam using the newest SDK for the board. I have tried it with an example LED blinky programm.

Best regards,

andy

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Maybe you can try this trick to recover.
1) Set the SW7 to Serial Downloader.
2) Power on the board, and debug a sample demo project.
3) After that, power off and recover the SW7 to the previous set, then power on again.
4) Give a debug again.
Have a great day,
TIC

Hello,

errornew.PNG

this is the result of the change of SW7. The process stops at this point. Is there a way to fix this?

best regards,

andy

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
It seems a bit weird, maybe you can try to update the firmware of the onboard debugger.
Have a great day,

Hi,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
1) Is there a way to fix this problem or to reset the Board to factory conditions?
-- Firstly, I'd like to know whether you ever modified the board before, next, if not, the SW7 should be set to 0110 actually.
Have a great day,
TIC
