Hi,

I was wondering what is the maximum resolution MIPI camera the RT1050 can handle? How would I calculate this based on the datasheet?

Cheers

Paul

Hi paul2021nz,

RT1050 camera is using the CSI module, normally, you need to check the CSI interface feature to select the camera sensor.

The capabilities of the CSI include:

• Configurable interface logic to support most commonly available CMOS sensors.
• Support for CCIR656 video interface as well as a traditional sensor interface.

• 8-bit / 10-bit / 16-bit data port for Bayer data input.
• Full control of 8-bit/pixel, 10-bit/pixel or 16-bit / pixel data format to 64-bit receive
FIFO packing.

About the solutions:

Eg, the MT9M114 camera device is configured to output 720P video frames with RGB565 pixel format, at 30fps frame rate.

Maybe you can choose the SDK CSI document mentioned camera sensor, eg: MT9M114 or OV7725 camera module.

If you still have questions about it, please kindly let me know.

Best Regards,

Kerry
