MIMXRT1060-EVK: Power Consumption Measurement of the MCU

Hello Everybody,

I'm using the MIMXRT1060 Evaluation Kit for some Machine Learning Applications. Now I want to measure the power consumption of the MCU (i.MX RT 1060). I don't want to know the power consumption of the whole board. I have the Board's Schematic, but I have no clue where to measure.

I thought, maybe there is an extra pin to read the power consumption? If not maybe I can solder a shunt resistor to get the input current? Any Ideas or advice? Thank you in advance!

Best Regards

Matthew

Hello @matthiasroedder,

I will suggest taking a look at the following application note. This has many tips about current consumption.
