Lab-3 AWS remote control, invalid region

Hi,

In lab 3, I followed everything correctly up to the android app, when I lunch the up it ask me to attach the properties file, when I do that, i got an error, "invalid region", I copied the region fro the AWS IoT as instructed, please see below,

customer_specific_endpoint=xxxxxxxxxxxxx-ats.iot.us-east-2.amazonaws.com
cognito_pool_id=us-east-2:xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
thing_name=myNXPthing
region=us-east-2

Hi SamArmanios,

   Please check your android mobile phone, what's the andriod version you are using now?

   As I know, the low Andriod version will have your issues. In the previous time, I have tried Andriod V6.0, that version has issues, but when I try Andriod V10, it works.

   So, please find some mobile phones with the new android version.

   You also can try this information:

customer_specific_endpoint=a215vehc5uw107-ats.iot.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
cognito_pool_id=us-east-1:c5ca6d11-f069-416c-81f9-fc1ec8fd8de5
thing_name=RTAWSThing
region=us-east-1

   This is confirmed works.

I got it working, the region information did not get saved.
