Hi,

Is digital inputs are 5V tolerant? I looked at the reference manual and datasheet but could not find any info about it.

I hope that you are doing great!

No, digital pins  or GPIO pins  are not 5V tolerant. 

RT1021 GPIOS can work with  1.8v or 3.3v nominal voltage.

For example , If we still want to know the maximum input  voltage GPIOs  can tolerate, we can take a look at the below specification.

The maximum input voltage of input pins is limited to  maximum of the NVCC_GPIO rail.
