Hi all,
What are the possible sizes of Receiver/Transmitter shift register sizes of UART.
Is that a true inference that we are able to set sizes of shift registers according to character length? In above figure (from reference manual) Transmit Shift Register is 11-BIT and Receiver Shift Register is 12-BIT? Are these values are just representation between given interval ? [Character Length (7,8,9,10) + Start/Stop Bits (1,2)]
Thanks and Regards.

Hello @Lukas_Frank,
The representation in the block diagram is only a use case, as it mention in the chapter 44.3.4, the central element of the LPUART transmitter is the transmit shift register that is 9-bitto 13-bit long depending on the setting in the CTRL[M], CTRL[M7], BAUD[M10] and BAUD[SBNS] control bits.
