Hi all,

Q.1. What is the difference between transmitter output and TXD Pin? Isn't already the output of the transmitter TXD Pin? Where is the transmitter output in figure 44-1?

Q.2. Whhy we use TXINV and RXINV? Why we need to inverse/reverse polarity of transmitted data output?

Thanks and Regards.

Hello,

Transmitter output and TXD pin are the same things.

Q.2. Whhy we use TXINV and RXINV? Why we need to inverse/reverse polarity of transmitted data output?

You don't need to invert these signals, however, the module gives you the option to do so in case your working environment demands it. This is mentioned in the LPUART Control Register and LPUART Status Register.

Victor
