This document describes how to use I2S (Inter-IC Sound Bus) and DMA to record and playback audio using NXP's i.MX RT600 crossover MCUs. It also includes the process of how to use the codec chip to process audio data on the i.MX RT600 Evaluation Kit (EVK) based on the Cadence® Tensilica® HiFi4 Audio DSP.
