Dear all
I wonder what to do with unused pins in RT1024, what is their default state? do they consume current?
Our product is about to go to market, but internal temperature is too high , so I am seeking solutions.
Thank you for your input!

Hello,
Thank you in advance for contacting NXP support.
Regarding the unused pins, we recommend to give a look into the "Recommended connections for unused analog interfaces" in i.MX RT DataSheet(s).
Also, the following general
approach may be considered.
For unused inputs that are mux-ed with GPIO :
- Configure pins to be GPIO.
- Configure pins to be inputs.
- Make sure the internal pull up resistors are enabled.
For unused inputs that are not mux-ed with GPIO pins :
- Connect each pin with a 10K Ohm resistor to ground.
Leave the unused output pins floating.
Please let me know if there is anything else where I can help you.
Thank you for reply, on Datasheet Table 82, most of the default pin state is input and as GPIO, so can i left them as they are?
Regards!
