I'm using an i.MXRT1062 for a project and noticed that between revisions 2 and revisions 3 of the "i.MX RT1060 Processor Reference Manual" the fields in IOMUXC_GPR_GPR14 for TCM sizes were removed. I don't have access to the changelog between these two manuals, can anyone tell me why these fields were removed from the manual?

Dear @dwotherspoon

Please accept our apologies for the delay on our response. I appreciate your patience.

Regarding your question, these bits were removed because they are not dynamically changeable.

To set ITCM/DTCM memory to 0 Bytes you can use FlexRAM partition registers (FLEXRAM_BANK_CFG_SEL and FLEXRAM_BANK_CFG in GPR), or blown eFuse (Default_FlexRAM_Part bits in fusemap) if you want to permanently disable them.

But be careful the software should avoid touching the ITCM/DTCM by any means when they are 0 bytes.

Hope this solve your concern. Please let me know if you have some more questions.

Best Regards.
