Hi all,
We are looking at developing several new products using the i.MX RT1060. I am looking for advice/suggestions on what is available and how much additional work is required to develop firmware update capability for devices that are out in the field. Due to security and IP restrictions, we would like the firmware binaries to be signed, encrypted and verified by the target device. These devices will be updated by service technicians. Ideally, the firmware updates are done via a standard communication interface (USB, Serial, Etc) so that they can be performed using relatively cheap hardware (not using specialised programmers, etc).
Are there any examples that already exist?
Thanks,
Jason
