I'm trying to debug an example project on a IMXRT1050-EVKB using MCUXpresso IDE. I've imported SDK example "evkbimxrt1050_iled_blinky" built it and tried to debug it.

When starting the debugging I get prompted with a message saying:

SWD Configuration. 0 available SWD Devices detected.

How can I resolve this problem?

Kind regards,

Does anyone actually know how to stop the boards getting into this situation in the first place? Having to constantly use the Boot Utility to recover is not sustainable.

It would be great if one of the moderators would put recover_rt1064.pdf, and the like, on all Get Started pages for the EVK boards. Took me most of the day to stumble on this. Thanks again to "fangfang" for posting it.

This worked for the MIXRT1060-EVK board when it had the "0 available SWD Devices" message as well.

Thanks, this PDF that you shared, explaining the process to access the recovery mode of the board/MCU work fine on the 1060(tested)/1064(tested)/1062 and maybe 1050 from the different comments i have seen. It has been really useful in my case and save me a lot of time.
