Timers in RT-1176

Hi, 

My application required timer interrupts, I had found

1)PIT 

2)GPT

when I use GPT timers for example GPIO toggling, I'm not able to flash another hex code. Showing error CPU can't halt.

Is there any other timers to use in  RT1176.

For timer interrupts you can also the eFlexPWM and TMR modules.
