Serial Downloader for iMX RT1064

Hello, RT1064 Champ!

I'm trying to download firmware via UART1 using the RT1064 Serial Download Mode by setting BOOT_MODE[1:0] to 01. I'm using a macOS PC and want to know how to download firmware through the serial port.

Could you please introduce the relevant tools and manuals?
Is it recommended to use blhost tool in MCUXpress Secure Provisioning Tool in Mac OS version?

Thanks for your interest in NXP MIMXRT series!

NXP provides specialized graphical software to help customers perform this operation, they use blhost as a base layer but are much simpler to use.

Alternatively, you can find the MCUBootUtility project in Github, which is a development version created by NXP's application specialists with basically the same functionality, but with faster updates.
