[SLN-VIZNAS-IOT] Retrieving frame simulaneously from both sensors

Hello everyone,

I'm working on the SLN-VIZNAS-IOT board. I have noticed on the schematics that the two MT9M114 sensors (IR and RGB) are muxed on the same CSI controller using the CAM_SEL bit. I'm wondering if it possible to retrieve data from both sensors at the same time by switching alternatively the CAM_SEL bit between the two sensors ? I suppose that would affect and decrease the frame rate and the global performance but I'm asking about it feasibility ?

Thank's in advance

Hello @oahlzouaoui,

Yes, you're right. Both sensors are used to protect against all forms of picture-based spoof attacks. Unfortunately, we cannot provide details about the implementation.

Sorry for the inconveniences this may cause you.

Best Regards,

Alexis Andalon

Update:

I have noticed that for the Anti-spoofing features, both RGB and IR sensors are used to detected the liveness of the recognized face. This means that, in some way, both sensors are used simultaneously, am I wrong ?

If it is the case, I would like to understand how are they actually used ?

Thanks in advance
