Hello All,

 We are building an application HW board using iMXRT1170 controller  for a 5 " TFT  interface. We referred to EVK iMXRT1170   and seen that the board uses 2 external SDRAM's ( SDRAM 16bit * 2 =
:W9825G6KH-5I  2 No's )  )  of the same size ( 4x 4Mx 16 = 256Mbits ) )application.  Are these 2 SDRAM s are used simultaneously to store/access data by the controller.

 For a smaller application with TFT interface, can we use just one SDRAM unless micro interface mandates 2 SDRAM's.

I use a single 16 bit SDRAM on both 1171 and 1176 designs, works fine.

I have attached my design below. I changed the DCD.c file to match this (also below)

I am trying same on IMXRT1170 evk but after making #define USE_32BIT_SDRAM 0

device doesn't boot. Can you suggest on this?
