1. Yes, you are right.
This needs to be corrected after discussions with internal colleagues. Fast GPIOs should be able to flip around 200MHz, but regular GPIOs can't do that. You can refer to this post:

2. We recommend using SEMC to connect to SDRAM because, in general, GPIOs are not recommended for direct use in high-speed memory interfaces, considering precision and speed.
