RT1170 SEMC Wait duration

I'm designing an RT1170-based design that will interface with SRAM via the SEMC peripheral.

The SRAM is asynchronous thus I plan to use wait pin.

Are there any spec for wait assertion duration? I'd like to know the maximum wait time allowed.

Actually the WAIT signal is a signal from the SRAM side, the duration is not controlled by RT1170 indeed.

If SRAM device assert wait signal so long time, does RT1170 have a timeout?

Hi  @Eugene3 ,

No, RT1170 doesn't have such kind of timeout event, but the Wait Valid Time must be no less than 2 semc_clk cycles. Please check the data sheet of your SRAM device for more details.
