RT1170 MIPI-CSI Camera - YUV422 (8 bit) support

Hello,

Do you have any reference designs, application notes, or example projects demonstrating the use of a camera module outputting YUV422 (8-bit) with the i.MX RT1170 MIPI-CSI interface?

I have reviewed the RT1170 errata (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/errata/IMXRT1170ACE.pdf) and understand that YUV422 10-bit formats are not supported, but I have not been able to find any published examples or confirmation specifically showing YUV422 8-bit operation.

Any guidance, known-working configurations, or example camera modules would be greatly appreciated.

RT1170 MIPI-CSI supports YUV422 (YUYV 8-bit) format. You can refer to this sample project in the SDK:
