I tried the example lwip_dhcp_usb (from SDK_2_10_0_EVK-MIMXRT1020) using several types of OTG USB cables (that worked with other devices/phones setup) on RT1020 connected to Samsung Note10 Android mobile phone. It appears that RT1020 running lwip_dhcp_usb can't detect the phone; so the phone can't enable the USB Tethering.
On booting up, debug console displays only "Host init." and USB analyzer shows no activity
I'm wondering if you could try lwip_dhcp_usb on RT1020 at your end to see if this sample base ever works at all. Since I'm considering using this example on RT1020 to begin a design, it's very important to make sure the base works to start with. Thanks.

I tried this demo with my EVK 1020 board on my side, It can work on my side.
I would suggest you check your hardware settings.
