Parallel LCD Interface with RT1176

Processor used RT1176,

Parallel Interface using eLCDIF.

LCD Details are given below:

The timing interface is provided as follows:

I am able to generate the 25MHz eLCDIF clock which I am able to verify using the oscilloscope.

Here in our LCD we don’t have HSync and VSync signals and the display is dependent on the Data Enable, but when I run the RGB module I am unable to set the DE.

I'm afraid that neither eLCDIF nor LCDIF v2 can support the LCD panel without the HSync and VSync signals.

In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you use the FlexIO to connect the LCD panel.

As the same LCD is being used with us using the imx6dl processor

Hi,

Please look into the above issue on the interfacing LCD, mistakenly it was sent using the different ID.

Also for your information I tried using the LCD example given in the SDK and changed according to the requirement as suggested in the

Our LCD doesn't have the VSync and HSync interface and hence these pins are not muxed to the LCDIF interface.

Kindly help us out here
