From my MIMXRT1172 proto board design, it consist of FlexSPI2 as boot device and external SDRAM on SEMC_B1 bus ports.

But it can't access hyper flash region (0x60000000) by JTAG_ICE debugger (Lauterbach), also can't boot operation...T T;

Pls check or review how to access FlexSPI2 device memory. (BOOT CFG = 1010 0000 0000)

Anyone else success to boot on FlexSPI2 Hyperflash ?

Thanks,

Hi,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
In the RT1170/1160, the FlexSPI2's port has 8 data bits, so it's not necessary to use the Combination Mode to connect an Octal Flash, further FlexSPI2 doesn't support this mode.
