Hi @kensu ,

Thanks for your kind patience!

I've confirmed with the internal team that SDK 24.12.00 has gone through some major changes in the ecosystem and the way it is developed, and although the online documentation has been released, there are still some gaps in the other documentation.

The internal team has already started to make improvements and will probably do so in the next release.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you right now.

Best regards,
Gavin

Hi @kensu ,

Thanks for your questions!

The biggest change in SDK_24.12.xx from the previous version is that it uses the new admin and build tool west. This is along the same lines as zephyr's project. While it can still be downloaded via SDK_Builder, a more flexible way is to build the application yourself using mcxsdk.

Its Release_Note can be found here: https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/mcuxsdk/latest/html/release/index.html

Also if you want to learn how to build the new version of the SDK, this document is a good starting point.

Best regards,
Gavin

Hi Gavin

Thanks for quick reply,

According to your reply, I can still download the change note in the SDK builder?

But I can find where to download.

I also search bellowing, But I still can't find it.

Release Notes — MCUXpresso SDK Documentation

Could you give me more clear information? For example, a link of RT1015 SDK.

My project is medical monitor project, we need to check the latest SDK regularly.

Ken

Hi @kensu ,

Thanks for your update!

I checked the zip that SDKBuilder downloads and it does not contain ReleaseNote or Changelog.

I'm not quite sure if this loss was arranged this way or an accident. I've fed it back to the internal team and I'll sync with you as soon as I hear something.

Also, I think the online documentation should contain ReleasNote exclusive to each board and not just for the new SDK itself. On this point I have likewise fed back internally.

Due to the limited information I've learned about this new SDK at this time, I apologize for the inconvenience and pls trust that I'll be working with you to resolve this issue.

Best regards,
Gavin

Hi Gavin

There is new release SDK recently (SDK_25_03_00_MIMXRT1015xxxxx.zip).

Does NXP improve the release note?
