IMXRT1050-EVKB LCD interface is only 16 bits

Looking at the IMXRT1050-EVBK board schematic there are only 16 RGB data lines wired to the LCD connector.

Since the processor supports 24 bit RGB Is there a way to get access to the other LCD data lines ?

I have an RGB666 LCD, how would I use it on the board ? Just not use two of the colors least significant lines ?

You may try RGB666 signals [RED(LCD_DATA13~LCD_DATA17),GREEN(LCD_DATA06~LCD_DATA11),BLUE(LCD_DATA01~LCD_DATA05) ],The adapter board should be needed from the LCD interface of the EVKB board to the customer LCD interface. We recommend the customer refers to the EVKB board.
