HI

I need to use two ethernet interface and have them both operational. I haven't found any relevant examples in the SDK.

Thanks.

Hi @kevin198776 ,

Thanks for your interest in NXP MIMXRT series!

As you said, there is no dual Ethernet demo in the SDK at the moment, which makes it difficult for developers. But our colleagues have worked on a project (unofficially released) for RT106X based dual Ethernet. I don't know if this fully meets your needs, but for that matter, it's the only resource I can find at the moment. Thanks for your kind understanding in advance!

Best regards,
Gavin

Hi

For the i.MX RT 106x take a look at the uTasker project, which supports flexible networking solutions:
Multiple networks on multiple interfaces on
- single or dual Ethernet
- Wifi
- Tethered USB

https://www.utasker.com/index.html
https://www.utasker.com/docs/uTasker/uTaskerNetworking.pdf
https://www.utasker.com/docs/iMX/uTaskerV1.4_iMX.pdf
https://www.utasker.com/docs/uTasker/uTaskerRNDIS.pdf
https://www.utasker.com/docs/uTasker/uTaskerWIFI.pdf

Allowing complete project development, and i.MX RT simulation using VisualStudio (including TCP/IP stack on emulated i.MX RT in real-time).

Regards

Mark (uTasker project lead)

Hi Gavin_Jia,

Does NXP have plans to release a two-ethernet-interface EVB?

Best regards,
Kevin

Hi @kevin198776 ,

Thanks for your feedback.

But as far as I know, there shouldn't be any new EVK design for RT106x. But there may be some third parties that are implementing dual network ports. This link: https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-RT/RT1061-Dual-Ethernet-MDIO-Interface-Questions/td-p/1521883

Also, the RT117x has an EVK that supports dual network ports.

Best regards,
Gavin
