Can't not test another example. like led_blinked or Wi-fi examples.

I want to test another example like wi-fi example or hello_world example with MIMXRT1060-EVKB. 

But after flash a voice example once, I can not flash another example.

I tryed to use USB and push *.bin in USB driver to flash MIMXRT1060-EVKB.

But It doesn't work. 

How can I test another example??

Hi @yelin ,

  Except the MSD method, do you try the serial download mode, or the debugger to download the code? Whether it works or not?

  If you still have issues, you can do the mass erase at first.

I don't have JLINK, so I'm downloading it using USB.

I think using USB is serial download. is it right?

MSD operation will proceed without errors, but only local voice app will be executed when rebooted.

Can you tell me how to flash another demo app and run it?

Hi @yelin ,

  MIMXRT1060-EVKB already have the on board debugger CMSIS DAP, you can use that one, it also the same.

That will tell you how to use the on board debugger or the SPT tool to do the mass erase in the serial download mode.

About the flash another demo app and run it, just use the on board debugger CMSIS DAP and in the internal boot mode is OK.

Hi @yelin ,

  Thanks for your information, you are using the SLN-SVUT-IOT, and not your mentioned MIMXRT1060-EVKB, the situation is different.

  I highly recommend you find one debugger, eg, JLINK, that will be more easy help you to do the debugging.

  But, if you don't like it, you also can download the bootloader:bootstrap, bootloader to the related address in the serial download mode.

  To this situation, you totally can use MCUBootutility:

That is based on the older voice board, but similar to you.

Seems I also need to write one document about your used SLN-SVUT-IOT.

  Yes, generate the bin file,then board enter the serial download mode, use the MCUBootutility tool  to download the bin to your external flash.

Is the flash method only available for MCUBootUtility? Is the MSD method not available?

 MSD working is based on your bootloader, bootstrap still working.

 What I am afraid is your bootloader+bootstrap is broken, then MSD can't work, you need to download the bootloader+bootstrap+app again.

  So, now, whether your MSD still can update the app or not?

1. J61 remove 1-2, connect 2-3.

2. Power off and power on the board again

3. the MCUbootutility use the USB, then you will can find USB PID/VID.

Then try to connect it again on your side.

Click connect to ROM, then you will find it is connected:

  That's strange.

  You can find the USB PID/VID, right? Just can't download it?

  What's the boot device config you are using now? In fact, default is OK.

  If you still can't make it work, seems you board meet issues, as I share you the screenshot just from my own SLN-SVUT-IOT board.
