Hi,

I am still new to i.MX RT117x environment but I am requested to find a Wifi/BT module that can work with i.MX RT117x crossover MCU for an automotive application.

So please teach me what automotive Wifi/BT module are avaliable? this means that the drivers for using with RT117x MCU should be ready as well.

no 8887 now.

More details, please check the SDK wireless document:

SDK_2_11_1_MIMXRT1170-EVK\docs\wireless

It has the detail information.

Best Regards,

Kerry

@kerryzhou, thank you!

Would you mind to confirm if 88W8887 is also supported by MCUExpress SDK? if not, how compatible is 88W8987 with 88W8887?

My expectation is to have a list of SDIO+UART based automotive Wifi/BT modules for futher selection.

Yanfeng

@kerryzhou

Double checked this page  as you mentioned, I saw 88W8897 listed in in automotive section, however, the table doesn't have RTOS listed in "OS/Driver support" column for 88W8987. Does this mean that table is still not up-to-date yet?

Hi @yfliu ,

   It means the 88w8897 self wifi module can support RTOS, but no RT or i.mx driver for it now.  Just no related RT driver.

@kerryzhou

Thanks for the screen shot.

what I meant to ask is the SDIO based model 88W8987, from your screen shot, its situation is that RTOS and Linux drivers are both available.

Hi @yfliu ,

8987 RTOS code, you can refer to the  RT SDK wifi/BT code.

8987 linux code, you can refer to the I.MX SDK wifi/BT code.

Wish it helps you!

Best Regards,

kerry
