yocto and angstrom image recipe for i.mx 6

Hello, I'm playing around with Yocto for the i.mx 6 processor. (I own a wandboard-dual and a sabrelite)

I built many Yocto images (core-image-lsb, core-image-sato, etc..) and it all worked fine.

I just saw on the Angstrom website that the Angstrom distribution is Yocto compatible.

Can somebody tell me how to build the Angstrom (Yocto) image for the Wandboard i.mx 6 ?

Is it a simple bitbake command like:

bitbake angstrom-distro

I don't see a recipe for the angstrom image in the git from freescale/yocto...

Thanks for any comments.

There is information on which git to use to setup the Angstrom image

Once you add Angstrom metadata you should be able to build the supported images. There are some examples on this same link. Perhaps wandboard has more information regarding support for Angstrom on Wandboard.

Do you know how to specify another MACHINE since I don't see the i.mx 6 in the machine list.

Can I use the machine configuration from meta-fsl-arm-extra ?

Can you give me some instructions on how to prepare the repository so I can use the bitbake command  ?

Thanks

You should be able to add the machine specific information, which you may take from the meta-fsl-arm-extra but you would still need to figure out any missing dependencies. Their website doesn't go very deep on this but it looks like they have worked to make it as easier as possible to add a new machine. I would follow the steps on their website and add the machine from the fsl community bsp.
