x11 applications using EGL are not supported

Hi,

We have a question about  x11 applications using EGL are not supported using fsl-imx-xwayland.

Our BSP is 5.15.52 on i.MX8MP.

May we know why NXP does not support EGL for X11 applications? Can we have some other way to support x11 application with EGL?

yes current bsp doesn't support X11 on imx8 series anymore, because few of customer uses this, in the old bsp(4.9), supports EGL for x11, but only imx8mq boards support this bsp version, maybe you can refer to that, but nxp doesn't support porting work, customer needs porting by themselves
