Hi,

   Thank you in advance...

I have queries on i.MX7d linux kernel, while user enter reboot command in linux console on i.MX7d during reboot time need to write some values like 0x12345678 in register or iram or some safememory, please suggest me the right way to write correct location.

since I have written 0x00900000 and 0x00180000 location overwritten by u-boot.

Thanks

Murugan R

 Thanks for your reply,

I have tried the same , but it did not work out.

Please suggest me anyother way to do warm reset and safeguard the data.

Hi Murugan

please look at SRC_GPR registers, described for example in

sect.6.2.7.24 SRC General Purpose Register 9 (SRC_GPR9)

i.MX7D Reference Manual

http://cache.nxp.com/files/32bit/doc/ref_manual/IMX7DRM.pdf

Best regards
