working SDMA with EIM on iMX6

I want to work SDMA with EIM on iMX6, but i didn't found that

From reference manual of i.mx6, in list of SDMA event mapping, no SDMA event for WEIM device. So external device connected to WEIM port can't trigger SDMA to work.

I think SDMA trigger(TX,RX) can work by SW(program), not DMA request(external device event)

The Linux DMA APIs have been mapped to the SDMA.

The only thing you need to have is the Linux programming knowleadge.

In the Linux source tree, dmatest is the  code for that.
