Like @joanxie mentioned above, Win10 IoT Enterprise is not a free OS. However, now that we have officially launched both flavors of the Win10 IoT Enterprise OS (LTSC and SAC), there are a couple of ways to get the OS image for evaluation without any commitment to purchase:

1. Download the OS from microsoftoem.com (recommended path)

  • Start by reaching out to an offiical Windows IoT OS distributor (https://aka.ms/iotdistributorlist ), who can guide you through the process of registering as a Microsoft OEM, signing the right agreements, etc
  • Once you have access to microsoftoem.com, navigate to the software order center where you can search for either the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC or the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise SAC 21H2 OSes and use the Microsoft Media Tool to download them

OR

2. Download the evaluation OS from Microsoft Collaborate

(P.S. Make sure you're using the latest v1.0.0 User Guide posted here: Windows 10 IoT Enterprise for i.MX Applications Processors | NXP Semiconductors. We've made a number of edits to fix some incorrect documentation and links and to make the document generally easier to follow in the v1.0.0 User Guide)

You have to have access to the Microsoft partner center to get this, and Win10 IoT Enterprise is not free OS
