Hi,

>>I am using bcm43438 in our customer imx7d board with Linux3.14.

The  wifi firmware I use is "brcmfmac43430-sdio.bin" and "brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt" from raspberry pi, when use "modprobe bcmdhd firmware_path=/lib/firmware/bcm/BCM43430/brcmfmac43430-sdio.bin nvram_path=/lib/firmware/bcm/BCM43430/brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt dhd_meg_level=0x1" i get the message:

Hi Cheng

one can try attached patch, but i.MX7D supported in L3.14.52 kernel with beta quality,

suggest to migrate to latest L4.1.xx kernels described on link

http://www.nxp.com/products/software-and-tools/software-development-tools/i.mx-software-and-tools/i....

Best regards

hi igorpadykov,

I have tried the patch, but the result is same,  when i use "iw dev wlan0 scan", it still get nothing , and i can not connect to any wifi.

As i can see, the firemware is named "brcmfmac", does it mean i should use brcmfmac driver?

Linux 3.14 is very old kernel, for its support please apply to Murata support link
wireless.murata.com/eng/products/rf-modules-1/wi-fi-bluetooth-for-freescale-i-mx.html
or use latest bsps described on

i.MX 6 / i.MX 7 Series Software and Development Tool|NXP

Hi  igorpadykov,

I have tried the latest kernel 4.1.42 from freescale github, but the result is the same. when i try to scan for aps, it still return nothing, and can not connect to my ap.

I think maybe the driver or the cmd i use is wrong or too old?
