Hi community,

I have one question about AUTO_RESTART bit of HW_RTC_PERSISTENT0 register on i.MX28.

In Reference Manual of i.MX28, Description of AUTO_RESTART bit is following.

17 AUTO_RESTART "Set to one to enable the chip to automatically power up approximately 180 ms after powering down."

In this comment, where is a start timing at "180ms"?

Best regards,

Ishii.

Hello igor,

Thank you for your quick response.

You say that if Power source is only DCDC_BAT,

"turned off" timing is that system detect DCDC_BAT low level and start brownout sequence.

Is it correct?

If so, does it have some method to detect start timing by software or external signal?

Best regards,

Ishii.

Hi Ishii

I said : "start will be from moment when power supplies become turned off."

I am afraid there is no way detect start timing by software or external signal.

Best regards
igor
