Possibly there is some memory leakage and lack of the memory hangs the process.
Please try to monitor memory use during the running of the system.
I mean you can do something like "cat /proc/meminfo" every hour in background.
Also possibly bad RAM causes the process to hang.
Please perform DDR stress test.
