when upgrade the android 4.2 to android 5.0,i find the imx6dl have the mxc_dcic.c,but i don't know what is it used for , can anyone tell me ?

it is DCIC file and used to verify that a safety-critical information sent to a display is not

corrupted. Please refer to attached Linux Manual Chapter 55 Display Content Integrity Checker (DCIC)

thanks for your kindly answer,i read the document carefully, but i still have a question:if i remove  it,what potential side effect will be happened?

I used lvds panel.will it cannot complete sync of frame?

if you remove  it it will work.

It is used to prevent data corruption.
