usbtty support in imx8 uboot

Is it possible to use USB as debug Port in imx8 u-boot and kernel?

One of our custom board based on iMX8QM CPU, the uart interfaces are not free for debug purpose.

So we are planning to use USB as the debug port. Will the latest u-boot will support it?

I am afraid not, additional customizations should be performed as described for example

on uboot mail list:
