spi with iMX6 SABRE lite board

I have a Sabre Lite rev-D board and I am interested in using the ECSPI controllers to communicate with a custom device (an FPGA).  Is it possible to bring out a SPI port to one of the board's connectors?

What drivers are required for this device.  I am currently running linaro ubuntu on this board, but I'm not attached to it.

I have just started with my Sabre Lite board and started to look at the SPI interface (I'm using the LTIB image)

Have you had any progress with the SPI drivers?

What I could see from the schematics, the SPI is only connected to the SPI flash.
