My question is related to document IMX6DQ6SDLHDG (Hardware Development guide for i.MX6...)  On page 4-2  in Table 4-1 in the 'Notes' column it appears that the note for row 1 and row 2 are the same, where instead I would expect the note to refer to VDDARM23_CAP instead of VDDARM23_IN.

If I am using an i.MX6D instead of an i.MX6Q, then according to the note of row 1 I should connect VDDARM23_IN to ground. But the note for row 2 does not tell me what to do with VDDARM23_CAP if I am using an i.MX6D. Please help.

Hi Fred,

Thanks for noticing that. For dual operation, you have to connect VDDARM23_CAP to GND. I'll get that note corrected. Please also see section 4.2 of app note AN4397 located here:

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/app_note/AN4397.pdf?fpsp=1&WT_TYPE=ApplicationNotes&WT_VE...

I think it'll clarify all your doubts.

Best regards.

Jorge.
