reboot -p not working propely, its trying restart agian

Hi,

Currently i am working with imx6q sabresd with android 6.0.  When i use "reboot -p" on terminal to poweroff the device its again powering on itself. How to make permanently poweroff until manually make it on ??   Please help...

to prevent board automatic powering on after applying power supply one can try to

implement additional circuit (or similar) provided in i.MX6Q Sabre SD schematic spf-27392 p.19

"OPTIONLA PMIC Power On Circuit"
