Hi Sir,

I use Windows 10. Device manager can recognize the board which means the configuration should be no problem. But, when I use mfg tool, it show "no device connected". Can you help me how to check this problem?

best regards,

Langston

Hi, lh chang‌,

MFGTool detects the device in serial download mode only. The board should be in serial download mode.

Follow below instructions to enter into serial download mode :

  • Set Boot Mode DIP switch in Serial Download Mode for your board (if there is a dedicated BOOT Mode switch on board)
  • If the boot device is SD Card then do not inset SD Card into the slot while launching MFGTool vbs script. After the message "HID Compliant device" is displayed, the board enters into serial download mode. Then insert SD Card into the slot and start MFGTool to flash images.

Regards,

Shivani
