HI,

We have been working on iMX8M mini SoC based embedded platform. We need a parallel to MIPI CSI-2 bridge for our application. But most of the MIPI CSI-2 bridges signal operates at 1.2V whereas iMX8mm supports 1.8V logic level.

whether anyone has come across this issue? Please suggest on this !

Hi Vijaybhaskar

i.MX8M Mini has 1.2 V power for analog part (VDD_MIPI_1P2) as described in

Table 10. Operating ranges

i.MX 8M Mini Applications Processor Datasheet for Consumer Products

and compliant MIPI CSI2 Specification V1.3, MIPI D-PHY specification V1.2.

HI igor,

Thanks for your prompt reply!

1) I have refereed table no 65 in iMX8 mini datasheet, it is mentioned that all the MIPI CSI and DSI signals fall in the power group of 1.8V.

2) previously, we have written a mail to NXP technical support. In reply mail you have mentioned that iMX8 mini MIPI signal voltage level is 1.8V.

Please  clarify on above mentioned points. I am attaching some useful information for reference

thanks and regards,

vijay

Hi Vijaybhaskar

i.MX8M Mini has 1.2 V MIPI-CSI levels, though power group of 1.8V.

sorry this is not true. In attached answer there are no such words.

Most correct answer can be found in MIPI CSI2, MIPI D-PHY specifications

for example one can look at sect.4.12.12 MIPI D-PHY Timing Parameters
