ov5642 IPU0 CSI0 not working in i.MX6QP, but working in i.MX6Q

The configuration I have for the i.MX6Q is:

video1 (v4l2 slave) <---> IPU 0 CSI 0 <--> ov5642

This is working fine in the i.MX6Q, but it is not working in the i.MX6QP. Both using the last v4.9 kernel released by NXP. Everything else (HDMI, LVDS, MIPI camera) is working fine in both i.MX6Q and i.MX6QP.

Is there any changes in the hardawre that would explain this? Any configuratino that should be adjusted?

when you use ov5642 for imx6qp, any error shows up? could you give me more detailed information?

Sorry, for the delay. The problem was a fragment of custom code introduced which was specific to ccimx6.
